Marmara Siegener targets 60 thousand tons of galvanizing by the end of the year
Marmara Siegener Galvaniz, which provides hot-dip galvanizing services, has an annual galvanizing capacity of 150 thousand tons in its İzmit, Dilovası and Çorlu facilities. The company, which aims to galvanize 60 thousand tons in 3 facilities this year, evaluates 20 percent of its production in the domestic market and delivers 80 percent to the foreign market.
Stating that they galvanized over 60 thousand tons in three facilities in 2019, Marmara Siegener Galvaniz Marketing Sales Coordinator Bünyamin Halaç said, "In 2019, we closed the company's turnover with a 10 percent increase compared to the previous year. In 2020, we faced the pandemic problem that seriously negatively affected the global economy. Our goal this year is to remain the same as the previous year. Again, we plan to galvanize 60 thousand tons in 3 facilities." On the other hand, Halaç stated that they focused on cost-oriented studies and said, "We reduced our raw material consumption and man-hour costs. In the last three years, we have started to work more intensively with corporate companies doing business abroad."
Marmara Siegener Galvaniz Marketing Sales Coordinator Bünyamin Halaç, who said that they operate in the field of "hot dip galvanizing" with approximately 250 employees in İzmit - Dilovası - Çorlu facilities established in the Marmara region, said: "We do not manufacture metal. This allows us to provide better quality and faster service to our customers without competing. We are the only company in our country that has three such facilities and works only as a contractor. We serve the electricity, construction, structural steel, transportation and automotive sectors."
